Zanst International School Students Join IMC First Round

Students proudly completed the first round of the International Math Challenge (IMC). The competition tested their problem-solving and reasoning skills, and participants approached the challenge with enthusiasm and dedication.

Zanst Students Participate in Slemani Art Exhibition
The Slemani Exhibition, organized by the VIM Foundation, showcased creative artwork by children from across the city. Our students contributed with their own beautiful pieces and also had the opportunity to visit the exhibition, enjoying and appreciating the diverse works on display.


SSM Meeting Held for Grade 1–3 Students
Zanst International School held an SSM meeting for students in Grades 1–3 to ensure that every learner receives the guidance, care, and support needed for academic and personal success.
The meeting focused on monitoring student progress, addressing individual needs, and strengthening communication between staff to provide the best learning environment for our young learners.

Zanst International School proudly celebrated the 241st anniversary of Slemani’s founding with activities both on campus and outdoors. As part of the celebration, a group of students enjoyed a school-organized picnic, giving them the opportunity to connect with nature and spend quality time together while honoring the city’s heritage..

During the weekly meeting of the Zanst International Kindergarten and School staff, teachers and administrators come together to align objectives and share innovative ideas.

Students Enhance Typing Skills in Computer Class
Students in our computer class recently practiced typing 50 words in under one minute without looking at the keyboard. The activity aimed to improve their typing speed, accuracy, and overall digital confidence.
This exercise is part of our ongoing commitment to developing strong technological skills and preparing students for effective digital communication.


Students Take Part in Sulaimani Scouting Camp Week
On Sunday, October 26, our students participated in the annual Sulaimani Scouting Camp Week, organized by the General Directorate of Education in Sulaimani – Activities and Scouting Unit.
The event offered engaging scouting activities that promoted teamwork, leadership, and outdoor skills. We are proud of our students for representing our school with enthusiasm and teamwork.


First Term/ 10 quiz
The new term began on an enthusiastic note as students at Zanst International School tackled their first quiz of Term 1 with confidence and eagerness. The activity not only assessed their understanding of previous lessons but also encouraged active participation and a growth mindset. Teachers and students alike embraced the opportunity to set a positive tone for the term, aiming to make the upcoming months a period of academic growth, learning, and overall success.


ZIS Hosts Productive Parent-Teacher Meeting to Strengthen School Community

Grade 1-3 Students Enjoy Autumn Trip to Sarchnar
Students from Grades 1, 2, and 3 went on an autumn trip to Sarchnar, where they enjoyed a fun-filled day of activities and created lasting memories with their teachers and classmates. The outing provided an opportunity for learning, play, and bonding outside the classroom.


Grade 7 and 8 Students Visit Slemani Museum
Grade 7 and 8 students visited the Museum of Slemani to explore history and learn more about the region’s rich cultural heritage. The trip provided students with a hands-on learning experience, deepening their understanding of local history and traditions.


School Honors Trainers with Certificate of Appreciation
A Certificate of Appreciation was presented to distinguished trainers Mr. Idris Mohammed and Mr. Sirwan Salih in recognition of their outstanding dedication and continuous efforts in supervising the Teachers’ Professional Skills Development Program. The school commended both trainers for their commitment to supporting teachers’ growth and enhancing professional education standards.


ZIS Students Attend Seventh Sulaimani International Book Fair
Students from Zanst International School took part in the Seventh Sulaimani International Book Fair, exploring a wide range of books and engaging in activities that promoted reading and learning. Their participation aimed to encourage a love of literature and broaden their cultural understanding.

The school marked World Mental Health Day with an awareness seminar led by the psychological consultant and nurse, who highlighted the importance of mental well-being. On Zanst International School recently organized a wonderful hiking trip to Pira Shawkel as part of its ongoing commitment to students’ physical and mental well-being. The trip provided a great opportunity for students to enjoy the fresh air, stay active, and connect with the breathtaking natural beauty of Kurdistan.
Students, accompanied by teachers and staff, explored scenic trails, engaged in fun group activities, and strengthened their bond with nature and each other. The experience supported the school’s vision of holistic education, encouraging both personal growth and environmental appreciation

Orientation Day Welcomes New KG and First Round Students
Zanst International School warmly welcomed our youngest learners and first-round students for Orientation Day. Families and students explored the campus, met teachers, and learned about the exciting journey ahead.


Enrollment Open for the New Academic Year
Zanst International School is now accepting applications for the upcoming academic year. Special discounts are available for Sawaian Kindergarten students (20%–25%) and for first siblings (10%–15%).


School Uniform Distribution
School uniforms will be provided on Sunday, 7th September 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Zanst International School and Kindergarten Building. Parents are kindly requested to visit the school to collect the uniforms.
