KG Students Enjoy a Fun-Filled Day at Tiger Town

Our KG students had a day full of fun and excitement at Tiger Town. The visit provided opportunities for play, exploration, and social interaction, aiming to support experiential learning, develop motor and social skills, and create joyful, memorable experiences outside the classroom.

Second Term Final Examinations Conclude

The second term final examinations have officially concluded. This term showcased students’ commitment, growth, and consistent effort . We are proud of every student for their dedication and hard work throughout the term, demonstrating perseverance and a strong focus on learning.

Students Showcase Theater and Music Skills

Our students practiced a theater play at school and performed in front of the Art and Music subject specialist committee. The purpose of this activity was to develop students’ creativity, confidence, and performance skills, while providing an opportunity for constructive feedback from specialists on both their theatrical acting and singing abilities.

Students Receive Candy and Booklets for Ramadan Kareem

During the holy month of Ramadan, our students received candy and educational booklets as part of a special school initiative. The purpose of this activity was to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan, encourage generosity, and provide students with both enjoyable treats and informative materials that promote learning and reflection.

Grades 4–9 Attend Seminar on the Power of Kindness

Students from Grades 4 to 9 participated in a seminar centered on an important message: helping others not only changes their lives—it transforms ours as well. The purpose of the seminar was to foster empathy, promote social responsibility, and encourage students to develop kindness, strengthen character, and build deeper connections within the school community.

KG Students Visit Jwanro Factory

KG students visited the Jwanro Factory as part of their learning activity to explore the letter M, connecting it with the word milk through real-life experiences. The visit provided an engaging opportunity for students to observe how milk products are made while linking classroom learning with practical knowledge.

Grade 2 Students Visit Tuli Tuli for Cake Decorating

Grade 2 students visited Tuli Tuli, where they participated in a fun and engaging cake decorating activity. The purpose of the visit was to provide hands-on experiential learning, encourage creativity, and help students develop fine motor skills while enjoying social interaction and playful exploration.

School Futsal Team Achieves Victory

Our school’s futsal team achieved an impressive 3–0 victory against Ashti School in the School Futsal Championship. The team demonstrated excellent teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the match.

Grade 9 Students Explore the Physics Department

During their recent physics lesson, Grade 9 students had the opportunity to visit the school’s Physics Department, where they explored how classroom theories are applied through real-world experiments.

Students observed different laboratory setups, learned about scientific equipment, and saw how physicists test ideas through experimentation. The visit helped them connect what they study in class with practical applications, making the learning experience more engaging and meaningful.

This hands-on exploration encouraged curiosity and gave students a deeper understanding of how physics explains the world around us.

Grade 3 Educational Visit to Sulaymaniyah Museum

As part of their learning experience, Grade 3 students visited the Sulaymaniyah Museum, where they explored a variety of fossils and discovered interesting facts about life in ancient times. During the visit, students observed real museum exhibits and learned how fossils help scientists understand the history of life on Earth.

The trip encouraged students to ask thoughtful questions, develop their curiosity, and connect their classroom learning with real historical evidence. It was an engaging educational experience that supported their understanding of natural history and scientific discovery.

On the occasion of the 241st anniversary of Sulaimani’s founding, students from Zanst International School enjoyed a school picnic at Dukan, participating in outdoor activities and games while celebrating their city’s rich heritage and fostering friendship and teamwork.

Participation in the International Math Challenge – First Round

On 1On 15 November, students from Zanst International School participated in the first round of the International Math Challenge (IMC), engaging with advanced problem-solving tasks that tested their analytical thinking and mathematical proficiency. Their involvement reflects strong academic preparation and a commitment to excellence, and the school commends all participants for representing Zanst International School in this internationally recognized competition.

Kurdistan Flag Raising Ceremony

On Thursday with the presence of the administrative team and all the teachers, the Kurdistan Flag Raising Ceremony was held.

The ceremony began with raising the Kurdistan flag and singing the national anthem “Ey Reqîb.”

After that, the school principal delivered the Thursday speech to the students.

World Mental Health Day

In recognition of World Mental Health Day, our school’s psychological consultant and nurse organized an informative seminar about mental health awareness. Our students also took part by creating meaningful posters and engaging in activities to promote positivity and well-being.

Future Engineers at Work!

Our kindergarten students at ZIS dressed up as little engineers and visited a real building site, where they explored how construction works. This hands-on experience taught them about teamwork, responsibility, and creativity in a fun and engaging way, inspiring young minds through real-world learning.

Hiking Trip

As part of our Student Life activities, ZIS took students on an exciting hike to Pira Shawkel. The trip encouraged physical activity, mental well-being, and a deeper connection with the beautiful nature of Kurdistan. It was a fun and refreshing experience that brought students closer to each other—and to the great outdoors.

3rd Grade

In Grade 3 at Zanst International School, the homeroom teacher teaches Math, English, and Science. The lessons are fun and easy to follow, helping students understand new ideas, ask questions, and enjoy learning. The teacher knows the students well and supports them every day in a friendly and caring classroom.
